Italy's competition watchdog said it had opened an investigation into Deutsche Post’s DHL and 19 other courier companies for allegedly agreeing among themselves price rises to be charged to clients, Reuters reported.
The watchdog said it received complaints that 20 firms had "exchanged information about the impact of cost increases such as fuel costs, highway tolls and administrative costs to agree the size and method of price rises to be passed onto clients".
