SE what,Lon?
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Re: out with the old in with a new face
I am not in the SE of anywhere but if I was I would ask questions before agreeing with the OP.
1. Which Area is covered.
2. What skills does he bring to the primary task.
3. What skills will he bring to the people he represents.
4. What classes him as a "real activist".
Members of course can garner support for people they want to be in Union positions but I am guessing we would need a lot more details than where provided.
Also if would be fair to list other candidates just like the BBC do in Local elections

The OP should bear in mind that canvassing for votes is not allowed in CWU elections,
and could lead to a candidate being disqualified.
