Was going quite well until I was threatend with being taken down conduct code for putting in a grievance.

absolute piss take of a day, this has to be the busiest day I have experienced since working for this hell hole of a company, didnt get out till 10.30 and have only just finished, 1 and 1/2 packet bags, shed load of sky mags, plus about 7 trays of letters, 5 trays of flays ect took over 3 hours to throw it up what a joke, seriously considering sacking it off and looking for a 'PROPER' job.

awful day. same duty as yesterday took 40 mins longer
no vans to take people out, taxi's used, managers wandering around smoking and drinking coffee. Parcels now have a bigger backlog than during strikes......but christmas staffing doesnt start until 7th december

Thursday, heavy. Plenty of mags and packets but at least it was dry. Today was horrendous. Not just because there was more mail than yesterday, but because there were hardly peeps on the IPS. Finally got off the IPS just as the DOM called out for break time, 08.40! This was from 05.45, with only our usual 15 minute break for boxing off and bagging off. Finally got out at 11am and finished just after 3pm. Pissed down all day.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

WTF happened today, its like we stepped back in time.... 
arrived for work as usual everyone was gone, manager was in a happy mood and I had hardly any post to deliver. To make things even better i got a van to use. Finished 1 hour under time. Result....

Yesterday it was just like a normal week day - seriously.
We get 2 wagons bring in mail in the morning and the second one generally comes in at around 6.45am, yesterday was 7.05am and as per usual in recent times, which is every single day everyone was called back on sorting to finish off - this is rural staff who have already done their IPS. As we have so many PTers now we just don't have the staff on IPS anymore. It's getting worse and worse.
The only reprieve is on Sats we can "take were we are going" with mailsort.

It has been a complete nightmare recently, everyday I've had a full york of packets everyday plus lots of smaller ones plus the amounts of letters and flats have gone through the roof, on Saturday I had 8 trays of code sorted letters plus the same in flats.

The first 2 hours it chucked down then stopped
but then a freeezing wind and in wet clothes
Mail was not so bad as late with less packets but really did'nt notice, was to busy getting pissed on.
