hammered!!!!!! 12.30 finish in our office on saturday. Almost every person had to decide whether to book OT or cut off.
About 50/50 i'd say. Managers left at 10.20. Office not clear of mail or packets
Two people stopped using private cars this week. OMG even something this small upsets the way office runs.

worst saturday I have ever had eventually finished at 4:10pm completely soaked and cold. It didn't help having RM Christmas cards to delivery.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Typical Saturday at RM. Busiest day of the week. 90% of it DSA.
Just spilt stain-remover down my shirt. Now how do I get that out?

Re: The "How was your day" thread.
First day back after a week off, looked like it was'nt going to be too bad until I had over 1000 DSA addressed Dominos Pizza leaflets turn up, most houses had 2. Told the manager at 8.30 I was going to have a problem but he just ignored me. By 10.30 as I was starting to tie up he was standing at the end of the aisle taking the piss out of me and being sarcastic saying other people had them, i told him they may of had some but not the amount that was dumped on me. Went out with just over 184kg came back with 4 bags, probably 50kg. I'm seriously considering phoning the helpline I am getting sick & tired of being spoken to like dirt and having the piss taken out of me today. Day off tomorrow, how am I spending it, up the bloody hospital trying to get my leg fixed from my AOD.

Went out with just over 184kg
Blimey....... 184kg in weight? at 10kg a bag that would make it about 18 bags! Makes the walks with 6 or 7 bags look like easy street.
