Boy Racers Are Britain’s Most Hated Drivers

Boy racers have topped a recent poll of Britain’s most hated drivers.

In the survey conducted by the AA, 42 percent of drivers said they hated the boy racers more than any other type of driver on the road.

Predominantly males in their early 20s, boy racers topped the poll due to their tendencies to drive too fast, screech round corners, and take too many risks.

In second place are the drivers who never say thank you. 41 percent said they hate fellow motorists who fail to raise a hand or flash their lights to acknowledge the politeness of other drivers.

Next on the list are the drivers who show off by driving dangerously in order to “impress” their passengers, and those with excessively loud speaker systems annoy almost a quarter of drivers.

The legendary “white van man”, who has long had a reputation for being a rude and reckless driver, also makes an appearance on the list in fifth place. However, the more reserved Royal Mail van driver does not appear to pose much of an inconvenience to other motorists at all.

Sixth on the list are the dreaded Sunday drivers, with around 20 percent of motorists polled by the AA finding these leisurely drivers highly irksome.

The bottom of the top ten list is made up of parents on the school run in their oversized SUVs, taxi drivers and their tendencies to stop in awkward places in order to drop off passengers, foreign lorry drivers with their reputation for breaking almost every UK road law in existence, and drivers with caravans.

These people obviously haven't seen the drivers in my office, one in particular that has frightened even the most hardy in the office.
