I have an interview for a postie position

I have some good news I have passed the interview stage and I have been told my application is moving to the next stage, now I’m just wondering how many stages are there? Have I got the job?

They said they are undertaking initial checks, I’m just wondering what are these initial checks?

I start my job on Tuesday after induction on Monday.

I had an interview, then was called a week later to say I was successful and on to the next stage. I was told background checks were being taken out and I'd hear back within a week. I got a phone call 30 minutes later to say I got the job.

Sounds like you might have the job mate, but don't take what I say too seriously incase that isn't the case. It just was for me.

Couldnt believe it when i got accepted as a postie, thought yeehaa easy money. Well wrong there didnt realise how unfit i was, 4.5 stone lighter, fit now, but dont get to benefit as I am as always knackered. Has to have been an easier way! Not going to give them the happiness of having me quit now!
