If the duties were imposed by EA are they acceptable/reasonable duties.

If they are not and you accept the resign you are more or less accepting the duties as they stand.
good times, bad times you know I've had my share

when the duties came out in june we could not accept them as the union had told all reps to not agree to anything, so our rep could not agree or disagree, but he still had involvement, when we had our meeting for a ballot we did not ballot on the duties as we could not find anything wrong with them, but we ballotted on the way it was imposed on us. (not having a resign)

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
