Yeah we all know that but ACAS are making fortnightly checks on progress and if insufficient progress is made they will announce that and we will be out again BEFORE xmas. You'd think this is unlikely but RM are so daft I'd say it's 50-50 we go out again this year.

First fortnightly check: week commencing Nov 16, could be as late therefore as Nov 22. Two weeks from then, 6 Dec. Next one 20 Dec. Add one week to call a strike at any point. Royal Mail have to toy around with negotiations for about a month, and then can walk away. If our leaders cudnt take the heat last week how are they going to stand up to the massive pressure if they call a strike again?

The rumour doing the rounds last night is that the Union are contemplating calling the strikes back on already as RM have supposedly already broken parts of the agreement with the CWU. Regarding the work at the so-called 'Scab Centres' is still being diverted ?? Can anyone give us any information on these stories ??

Mail from Mount Pleasant is still being diverted to the Dartford Outhouse. We also have casuals working,
but there is no OT/SA for permanent staff. Our Area Reps are to meet management today to discuss this,
following which they will be reporting to CWU HW.
I hear there is a similar situation at Nine Elms MC.
