Do we know if the management cull is correct?

This is not a wind up and i can assure you it's true. If i were to reveal where it came from then people would obviously be in the s**t.. All i can say is remember you read it here first. Time will prove this info to be 100%.

they had that idiot B**g** 40 going on about Cluster Super Doms on that defunct Hellmail Forum in 2007 - as in being in charge of a cluster of DO's and managers having to reapply as Team Leaders . I'll buy that .

Apparently he wasn't a propaganda plant , he just happened to be opposed to the strike :Very Happy .

things just stay on the backburner with RM . Having said that he also said there would be all that shiny new kit and machines in and any slight against your colleagues over the strike would result in a stay in the cells

Yeah, I heard it too, direct from an office DOM, a couple of months back now. Think about it, if Doms get shunted back down to line managers then those line managers may come back down as posties . . . . . I really hope so, I know just how to welcome them back amongst us :evil/mad

Just in case folk still think this is BS. Cast your minds back to the 2007 strike. As soon as it finished i posted on here that a letter had gone out to all managers to "give us hell and make our lives unbearable in the hope that we would resign". I rest my case..

PS billypants is not my brother :chuckle

something to do with cutting the layers of management down , the idea was the existing chain of command was too long . Leighton wanted the Walmart three layers system . Whether it would work or not would be another thing but that's never bothered RM before .

there has been a few "interesting" memos / emails - there was one battle plan called Dicktat or Decree Grind-down or something like that , they'd this time scale to get things implanted within 4 - 6 weeks , very similar in tone to that leaked Powerpoint Document that RM didn't " recognize " but Mandy seemed to be well briefed on .

it's "strange" how these things get leaked - what a coincidence ;liar

IF they are to be replaced / superseded - apparently they were meant to be :lfo 's mouthpieces - he actually used to have them in on a rota basis for " motivation " sessions . Apparently they were like something out of Nuremberg with all the anti CWU hype .

Apparently it was realized very high up in Government that :lfo 's " new wave management " with all the gimmicks was a " mistake " , hence the appointment of Bryden .

Also think about it , if Mandy or Cameron tried privatization , no company would have such a top heavy & expensive chain of command :hmmmm

Maybe I've got it wrong... but do RDCs have DOMs? No? Maybe that's why DOMs don't mean much - then again, if you work in a DO, then maybe a DOM does mean something...meh, what do I know? I only work in a DO ( instead of being clueless and too arrogant to admit it )

3...2...1...breath....and feel calm again :Very Happy

Anyone with half an inkling knows all this change is driving in the Dutch delivery model. Just take a look at the TNT staffing ratios,it's as plain as plain can be ,RM management grades will be culled by 75% +. No if's no buts that is the model structure. Ostrich time :chuckle
