Do whatever you want guys but just remember what RM can legally do and would you put it past them? We are talking total scum bags here incase you wern't sure.
If a large office can do unofficial with everyone out maybe you'll be OK? But with only 30-40% out you could be chopped?
Felt all along that Fat Billy would capitulate=get the Man out now--or get him to explain what went on in these secret talks. Never mind, Ifeel he will now be cast as a pariah amongst top unionists in general, and his days will be numbered, see you in the dole queue Billy.
We were going to be taking legally sanctioned IA today & monday anyway. So it's only illegal now because our union capitulated.
Anybody else think Brendan, Billy & Dave are worse than strike breakers!
ps. never called anyone that before, even people who worked through official IA.
The only way i can see round a unofficial strike is not to have one...but to tell everyone not to work days off, and claiming o/t during christmas. It's not going to hit us hard but the royal mail...I do o/t pretty much every week without fail, and i know for a fact that pretty much every office throughout claims o/t. If everyone stopped this, royal mail would be stuck as they need people like us to do the work.
I personally think the cwu should release another ballot on a o/t ban, but i know they won't! I just wish the message could be wider known about this forum and what OUR game plan could be....whos with me, any ideas?

agreed, sounds good but if people are willing to cross picket lines i can't imagine them refusing overtime, plus some people will be pressured into it. we all know how management operate.
Thought i'd bring this one back up,you never know....
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been. My BFF Clash The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
