Obviously we have all lost money, both OT and regular pay.

Obviously various customers have quite rightly buggered off and found alternatives.

Obviously, poitically, we are on our own now. Labour, tory whatever seem to have abondoned us.

Obviously relations at work have become strained.

What have we gained ?

Lets see what the agreement says first

Why all the doom and gloom now ?

Sure we have had it tough and some have been fighting for months, but I think we have to see the document and then in the clear light of day make a decision. Making rash statements that RM bosses and the media lackeys will lap up all thsi aggro aimed at the HEIRACHY. Its helping no one and we run the risk of alienating comrades, easy people.

If we do not like it , then we have to do something about it .
I do not think much of a man who is not wiser today than he was yesterday.

If you think RM are gonna roll over 'cos of a handfull of strike days then think again... they don't give a cow's c***... THEY know exactly what they're doing.

Well Well that very nice Lord Mandelson chappy has really caught us with our trousers down - and given us a jolly good spanking to boot! He's engineered this from start to finish and planned the battlefield very well - can't quite tell if the media always fall for this sort of spin or they just don't cant risk getting to the truth anymore!
As for so called customers who keep posting messages about moving their mail - if you can do it cheaper you should have already moved it! Or has it taken a dispute to wake you up!

They said that this would still go ahead, with or without strikes, I think? Or maybe I'm wrong...again.

If they stop the High Court action, does this mean that the 30,000 RM wanted are still needed, as they did say it was "Nothing to do with strike", didn't they?
We'll see...
I'm quite happy to wait till Tomorrow to make judgement on what's happened! I think the court case on temps could have had a massive bearing on what's gone on today! :cuppa
I'm guessing, well, hoping really, that Royal Blackmails been panicking about losing in court and losing all credibility in the dispute! After all it would have proved what we've all known all along......that the've been lying through their teeth about the purpose of the temps! Perhaps it's agreed that the temps will quietly disperse with only a few hours work(and as many dvds and cds as they can fit in their pockets)to show for their efforts!

I simply refuse to believe the union would throw the towel in from such a strong position! :nervous

Am i right? Anyone?..................................................................Anyone? :nervous

:hmmmm That court case is a separate issue. There is only one logical conclusion to draw, and it's very scary :nervous

You are spot on, I mean who could possibly think that Royal Mail would lie to its employees and not stick to agreements - ha, unthinkable - mind you who was the berk who thought it was time to trust people??? - he'll be the one on the park bench drinking white lightning waiting to be set on fire by some trustworthy yob.
