I know everyones angry and dissapointed, myself included and i certainly wouldn't have called off the latest action. Having said that i think all the union bashing, while inevitable is playing straight into RM's hands. Let's remember managers come on here and would take great delight in there next meeting to tell their cronies " there all up in arms, lets finish em lads. There's been no agreement, and i think this is just the beginning of a long hard road, comments like " i'll never come out on strike again" are understandable , but weaken our position. Mind you i've not seen this deal thing yet . Stay strong

everyone of the guys has said they are disappointed and feel like they have been let down

all i could tell them was lets wait until we see the deal before we know if we have been shafted

The Yorkshire Ripper lookalike Higson is the problem full stop - very sinister , a plant on the other forum said " We couldn't go on with the Union having a veto on everything , that's why we brought Mark Higson in " - the same plant was bragging about deliberately orchestrating strikes in London .

Hopefully the Yorkshire Ripper will get a bloody nose - we can dream !

Oh very restrained, and yes you're quite right, BUT, we've all got the hump coz we can see another arse feckin coming our way if these union boys aren't really really careful. They must realise that this is their one and only chance to do this coz we won't support them again if they cock it up.

This so called agreement and the cancellation of the strikes (in my view) are going to cause major unrest not just with royal mail but with the union also. I'm bloody sick to the stomach here.

Am I right in saying RM only need to stall for a month after which the strike ballot is voided? Then CWU will have to ballot members again and by the time the votes are counted, notice given, etc xmas will be over with?

I am worried about whats being decided yes ,but im not gonna cancel my subs till i know weve been screwed over 1 day isnt gonna hurt nothing so calm down wait and see then decide
