On the one hand we've got people advocating an unofficial strike tomorrow.On the other we've got people meekly accepting we are going to be shafted.Is there not a middle road? Should we not now use this time to back our reps and have a say in the changes that occur in our offices? The executive were unanimous.Surely that tells you something.

The way I read it, the deal was going to take far too long to thrash out and all over christmas there would be mass disruption with strike after strike.
The problem we are seeing here is a lack of trust towards Royal mail, and that is the core of the problem.
Somebody has to trust somebody at some point. Surely Royal mail couldn't just go back on their word with third party mediators involved?
I for one will try to remain hopeful about it......

Dont forget its an interim agreement and the strike ballot still stands.Best news is that ACAS is involved.
Its going to take time and if RM try and move things without agreement then strikes will be called again.
