Re: Reason for strike-breaking
How about "I'm not doing two days work for one day's pay?"
Seems a sensible reason. After all, a lot here moan at anyone "working for free".
I'm not a strike breaker myself and do not come in on strike days but this strike business all seems a bit working class to me. I.E posture agressively and make a lot of noise but not really think things through.
I mean, the union surely has a fair bit of cash. Cash that could be used for hot shot lawyers and whatnot. Rather than starving its member's families and risking a "British Leyland" type fate.

So, you'll bugger up a full-time job, and be pretty pleased with yourelf if you manage to get another part-time job, to supplement your old full-time job, which you've gone out of your way to make part-time?bakersdozen wrote:no i will just get 2 jobs there lol
Small wonder this country is hitting the skids.

Re: Reason for strike-breaking
The government dont want people to have 2 jobs which is one of the reasons for the later starts. Even if you were part time they would make it awkard somehow for you to have a second job.
