Down to the picket line at 5am (had a little lie in due to the beers and getting to bed gone midnight) Good turnout again. Think there were 2 crossed the picket. 1 was a part timer starting later. Spirit amongst the posties is pretty high. Hopefully the pressure will take its toal on RM and they will see sense in the end.

Re: The "How was your day" thread.
We were told we couldn't book O/T and only frame in mail to take us up to our time (no cutting off allowed).
Thankfully doing the job properly has rewards - those of us who have been doing the job properly were still able to book O/T, while all those who come in early, rush around, use cars etc had to do it for 'free'.
A very satisfying day indeed.................
(Meanwhile, this Monday saw an increased backlog compared to last Monday)

Light on the mech, heavy on the flats especially Sky Mags. Got absoultely drenched, have'nt seen it rain so hard for a long time, could'nt deliver to a couple of houses because the driveways were flooded. Thumbs up for the CAT shoes my feet stayed dry for a change, just a shame the rest of me did'nt.
So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet

Seriously though, it is so good to have decent footwear available again. I have taken a couple of weeks to soften up my issue Doc Martens boots and after treating them with DM's own brand balsam they shed every drop of water today. Not a bit like the Magnum sponges we were wearing last year.

You need to adjust the time on the user control panel to UTC from UTC +1.dohnut wrote:Horrendous day, one of the busiest I have seen. And on top of that got pissed wet through.

was an extra heavy day, after RM forcing extra mail thru thinking we where going to clear the backlog & trying to force the 30m flex... my whole was the reply, did not complete duty, brought it back
seems this will now be the norm
