if it were me i would make sure any time after 14.00 hours i would book,take you M/R when you are due it,work to rule as layed down buy your dim and royal fail.start at 0600 hours not a minute before.

keep a diary each week of what time you are leaving your office and when you get back to the minute,keep in daily contact with your rep,get him to ring(if he isnt in your office) you daily or speak to him.

get the CWU to put as much pressure on you Dim as possible,remember thats what you pay your subs each week for proper reprasentation simple as that.pm me if you wish dont let them get to you...........

If the office is in the local area didnt we sign away the right to say 'no I'm not going' when we signed the dreaded agreement in 2007? Might not matter what your contract says in that case. Another reason to make sure we aren't tempted by a few quid extra a week this time round.

Its just our rep challenged this 5 year thing a while ago when they tried to send a 30 year man. They backed down and sent a reserve instead but iam not sure if it was because of the 5 year thing.

Yeah lets screw the Royal Mail.

In fact lets all try and send it down the pan. That'll teach'em when they have no business left to run. The Managers are all no hopers but I have 5 yrs experience in delivering mail so I obviously must know how to run a business. And can do a better job than the MD. that why I'm a Postie.

If you guys dont like getting up in the morning and working for a living and getting paid at the end of the month then look for something else. There are plenty of peole out there working harder. Longer and for much less money. It looks like a lot of you believe the world owes you a living.

How are the Managers bullying you?? By giving you targets to meet and expecting you to meet them. Like they are also being given targets which they have to meet. (s**t rolls down hill)

I used to work in a large pub a few years back and a few of the bar staff slagged off the management like mad accusing them of not being able to do the job and they thought they would be able to do it much better, without actually having a clue what it takes. Even if they believed they did.

I understand some of the issues. But in fairness with over 2 million unemployed you guys should be glad you can still pay your mortgages.

Sorry but I think you’re a little off the point.

His not complaining about not achieving targets as I am sure he knows perfectly well what is expected of him at his own office. What his not happy about is being asked to work at another office 20 miles away.
His worried about being pressurised or harassed to use his own transport when there is a pre-standing agreement between RM/CWU meaning that its RM responsibility to provide transport both there and back.

Simple really.
