I really cannot understand your reasoning, you rightly say that people have bills to pay, mortgages to pay, and this is true of everybody, but how more perilous will it be for people to accomplish these tasks if Royal Mail managers are allowed to carry on where they left off? January isn't far off, Royal Mail will once again embark on yet another round of cost-cutting, and if EVRs aren't plentiful enough, bullying and harassing and intimidation of staff will become the norm once again. A day away from work as a protest once a week, seems to me to be the wisest investment towards a more safe and secure future for all postal workers, than any shameful climbdown and return to work, and a return to endless "flexibility" and endless absorption of duties which should be covered in a more sensible way.Truth wrote:Like you I am losing money and I agree with most of what you have to say, most. I have read the RM document you refer to, not good reading. Yet this does not subtract from what I am saying, most members will l be back at work well before Xmas if there is not an agreement, I can see it in my own office (95% out), and yet members are hesitant about on going action. At the end of the day the majority of members have family’s and bills to meet, they are not going to risk their homes are they. The union knows that, that’s why I believe some sort of agreement will be made this week. I will not say any more on the matter, good luck.

No fight, why then I am on the gate at 04.30. Next week you will understand the point I was making, one way or other it will be the turning point. As for being sensitive, I hope that’s true, it makes me part of the human race, Truth sometimes is hard to take.
