Re: do posties in your office go in before there start time
trouble with coming in early is that you cant count that as part of your shift, so if theres lapsing to do etc, management can still insist on you working to your time. This is at the route of the problem for me, what we have to all realise is that carving up the rounds and gloating on how much time we make is not in our best interest.

Re: do posties in your office go in before there start time
I start at 0630, I get in at 0625, take my coat of, go to the loo, maybe grab a cuppa, and at my frame 0630. They don't pay me from 0530, 0600, or 0629. But they do pay me until 1230 so that's the time I assume I will be working until. If I get done earlier, great, if not, I'm being paid.
It has been said many times before on here, job and finish ruined this job. Some people still don't see it.

I get in at 6am. My start time is 6.30am.
I start work when i get in. Once i get out in my van, once i get my paper from the shop, i park up and have half an hour to read it!
Then i carry on my job.
Still claim my 40 minutes at the end if i go over. Its my routine......f**k what they say!!
