YES everybody in every office knows who the pie eaters are and yes they know that we know etc etc. but the easiest thing to do is ignore them ..send them to coventry(sorry coventry) comrade only speak to them if they ask you a work related question otherwise they dont exist and you cant get penalised for it ..but this has to be done by every brother and sister including your fellow reps. because some of them speak to strike breakers from the last strike , :no no

Naming people on a forum without their express permission or without a link to a document that names them, like a media article, is

ILLEGAL

The Poster, Administrators, Owners and Hosting company are liable for damages to varying degrees if anyone is named as a strike breaker on here.

RMC would also be shut down - ask yourself do you really want to loose this resource at a time like this just to give someone who holds a different opinion that the majority a tiny bit of publicity. I hope not from both sides. Anyone naming any individual without following the rules will be issued a board warning or a ban.

Well its a serious subject matter ...i wont name anybody on this site or any other as ,like i have said before, we know ,they know, we know that they know ,they know that we know,so dont have to name or shame...this will be the same in every office up and down the country big or small....but i firmly believe that these people should know that its not alright to scab when there is a strike and to undermine everybodys effort in forcing a settlement in the dispute ,and they should withdraw from the union

Thought it was 'you cannot run with the hare and hunt with the hounds'?
Run, rabbit run. Dig that hole, forget the sun.

you do not have to talk to strike breakers but if they ask a question about a work related problem you are obliged to answer .....but you could just shrug your shoulders and utter the immortal words ........i don't know

Especially when making sweeping statements like 'I think we should now start a new forum where we name or shame those bastards that want to take the benefits of being in a union but don't want to fight for it'

I know two people who've had long careers in RM who resigned from the CWU ages ago and went in to work. Not everyone who crosses the picket line is a union member !!!!!!

One was a victim of harrassment from the office bully, and got no support from the rep in bringing a B&H case because the rep was the bully's mate; the other voted No to the 2007 P&M Agreement and now has no faith in the union at all.

Funny how you say you only started this thread as a joke now that people are criticising you for it. Bullying is bullying m8, whether you are on the 'right' side of the argument or not. Suppose somebody started a Facebook page with a title 'Names of postal w**kers who should be grateful for a job and should get back to work'. Would you find it hilarious to see your name on there ??? :hmmmm

the censored word in the Facebook page title was, of course, WORKERS. Where's your sense of humour ?

This doesnt apply to me before you start lol.

If some one ISNT in the union and come into work are they a scab? a grey area i think. I mean if they went on the picket line it would be classed as unofficial industrial action and they could get papered for it so they dont have a choice do they?

Wrong - If a non Union member goes on strike at the same time as Union members he is protected to exactly the same extent as Union members if it is an official strike. So it is an official strike so anyone working for Royal Mail at businesses that have been balloted (ie Not PFF and POL)can go on strike.

http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/Employment/ ... /DG_179248" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Industrial action by workers who are not trade union members

If you take part in industrial action when you are not a trade union member you are normally treated as taking part in unofficial action. This means that if you are dismissed while taking part in the action you normally have no right to complain of unfair dismissal.

You can still claim if the reason for your dismissal was automatically unfair.

You are treated as taking part in official action if both:

* members of a trade union are taking part in it
* the action is official industrial action taken by their trade union

This means that the law treats you in the same way as it treats trade union members. Your rights if you are dismissed depend on whether the industrial action is protected or unprotected and when you are dismissed.
If I post this enough times ( 3 or 4 so far) I hope people will read and understand it because the same question keeps popping up.

I would sue them - simple as - Thats the reason why we can't allow anyone to name anyone on here without links to prove "public domain"
