There is no bullying or harrasment in the office and we certainly aint coming to blows over it. The point of it was that if a lot of mail had come in that day, half of them I know would have gone on strike and gone home. They just wanted an easy day and are using the strike action to that advantage. So depending on how much work they have to do that day dictates whether they strike or not. Now that is wrong I feel. Yet these people are the first to moan about the changes and the s**t we have to put up with.

Like I said if you wish to strike, thats your right, you go ahead, no one has a problem with that. Just let your colleagues and mine have to the same right to work if they want to without any incriminations from you and the union which you belong to.

Surely, you cant support your colleagues being threatened with violence if they go to work or being ignored or called names. Should that that have been left back in the classroom or have you all carried on being bullys from then!!

How can we moan about the managers being bullys when our colleagues are inciting violence?

If you wife, girlfriend, mum, daughter were punched because they attended work how would you feel? is that ok should we condone this sort of behaviour. :wave

Ummmm..FLUFFYCAT sounds like a female I know :hmmmm Has most of the female workers strike breakers!!! :mfo

Hello Everyone I am going to be honest with you all i have worked every single strike and will continue to so including my rest day i don't agree with the strikes as i am very lucky to have employment as you should be too in this resession.

we all have our own Choices to make and i have made mine i do not care what people call me my only concern is no 1 my family to put food on my table for my children.

and to be honest i am very grateful for the extra money and hours i work that are gladley given to me by my manager who has treated me well

i do not know what you are fussing about after all it is not a hard job i have had not so good jobs in the past and compaired to them this is easy money putting letters in a box you do not need any qualifactions for this type of work go and work on a building site you will then see what hard work is and you can not go home early as you will not get your pay.

so people can call me names i do not care for one moment i am just happy to have employment i know some people will not agree but christmas is coming what are you going to tell your family when you can not afford to buy them much. thank you royal mail.

I think you'll find that it's not the chip on his shoulder but the heavy pouch bag that is weighing him down :chuckle :chuckle

Is this fluffycat and fluffy one of the same person. The deliberately provocative posts seem very similar :hmmmm

I have personally experienced postmen and women, colleagues and friends who feel unable to come to work even if they wanted to because of the most terrible intimidation that they suffer from there striking work colleagues. Why can you not respect each peoples views and opinions, and let them live there own lives. How immature, nasty and uncaring are you that call good people just trying to live there lives horrible names and give them the cold shoulder on your return to work.

Just grow up! You are all lucky to have a job, a good job with good pay. Stop whinging, get on with your jobs and help take your business into the future, so that we will all have jobs and income in the future.

right fluffycat

because of the most terrible intimidation that they suffer. or this type of thing is carried out by management on a daily basis. report them

You are all lucky to have a job, a good job with good pay. Stop whinging, get on with your jobs. equals think yourself lucky, head down and shut the f""k up or else

help take your business into the future. YOUR, don't you mean OUR ?

if people with your type of narrow minded views concentrated on the workforce instead of point scoring and their bonus we wouldn't be where we are now. the whole system from crozier down to the lowest dim is fuelled by greed. i haven't seen a conscience anywhere amongst the lot of them. if a bonus can only be achieved by getting rid of workers off the shopfloor by any means, bonus wins every time. the worker with wife, kids, morgage, bills etc is out on his arse.
