Onlooking Media need to dig deeper on this..

Post by Wild Rover »

It's clear Sky / BBC are reading this forum for latest news. It's also clear they are not covering this story in its entirety (click below).

When you consider the CWU have a problem with management at all levels in Royal Mail, then why on earth is this not being reported as fact?

Glasgow/West of Scotland managers being suspended for fraud - read the whole 3 pages and do some proper investigative journalist work - there is a story in this for someone.

Edit: Please don't clog this post with crap, silly little comments - let's see if media types come on here (even in disguise) and find out the truth to this sordid story

Hope you dont find this a clog at least one scottish daily newspaper has been informed of the ongoing investigation very recently and knew nothing about it but were quite interested
The only reason people get lost in thought is because it's unfamiliar territory.

Sent everything i've got including this stuff to ITN a while back.

I am also having chats with the BBC and The Times, but the problem is the story seems to have gone cold.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

So what about the two in Carlisle?

Therefore, let's make this thread a little warmer. Jeez, do we have to do the journalistic work for the media nowadays too?!

The problem with that story it's on first look a one-off localised incident. If there is evidence of institutional fraud of this kind there would be a scandalous a story in it. What there IS plenty of evidence for is the institutional bullying and harrassment that pervades Royal Mail premisses yet this still recieves scant press coverage! From the press coverage this dispute has recieved so far it's clear most journalists are often as lazy as we are falsely accused of being.
