The bit on Page Six by the Australian Guy about cleaning contracts is spot on - it is that cut throat , the same applies to the Security Industry .

The thread gets more sensible as it goes along , especially with RM staff fighting the staff corner .

Some of the right wing views are very silly , Thatcher's children that should have been the subject of a three consenting doctor's decision , 18 or so years ago .

Just pointing out there is a lot of this very polarized stuff about but not half as much as RM wished for

I just wasted a few minutes of my life reading the views of a load of ill informed morons that spend their life alone in their bedrooms in front of a computer. In a fantasy world, they wouldn't know what real life or work is. Perhaps one of the brighter ones could create a computer game that simulated life as a postie.

I used to use that forum quite a lot and was using the shop when it was in its infancy, running out the back of another computer shop. I stopped shopping with them when I realised that the owner was a closet Nazi. You should see some of the nasty right wing views that used to be posted on there. Most of the posters are spotty teens led by a few inteligent but socially inept dick heads.

how fast do you really need your computer to go ? & apparently it's all for computer games , I'm sorry but to me it's a case of so what

What little I do know about computers is if you do overclock the processor , it's drawing more juice out so it will need cooling - so I think that'll mean whopping great big fans making a row to cool things down ? , then I think ? the computer will crash more often as it's apparently not that stable .

I can understand some people putting Windows XP in Boot Camp on a Mac then overclocking in BIOS as Mac's have been traditionally been underpowered to play games , though their Operating Systems are fast .

I can understand having a good graphics card and more memory for Photoshop etc as that eats memory but I'd rather have service out of a computer than spend time fiddling with a screwdriver .

to be fair its not all games
i use my pc as a media hub so i needs to have a fair bit of oomph

as for overclockers,this is the forum that bans anyone who mentions negative things about their online store,sales etc

We've got one - it's called Pegasus, but the guy who devised it wasn't that bright and it only works when a manager puts false information into it.

I used to be into overclocking, and its all about pushing tech and keeping stability. My current PC is liquid cooled, for no other reason than because I can do it and and enjoy the challange. Newer faster more efficient procesors use less juce so dont put out as much heat. I dont even play games

The fact is we are all into the techno age but some people expect the earth for their deliveries while not paying the full cost as years ago we royalmail charged our large customers a cost to subsidise the cost of social mail when the post was deregulated in 2006 we all had to compete but royalmail is the only one who has to deliver mail any other company can and often refuses to deliver!. Thanks for the comments about overclocking - I must be a bit behind the times but I've been enlightened . I can see the point of something with a just a tad more omph if you're using the likes of Photoshop or doing music on Cakewalk on a PC or Logic Express on a Mac , the time savings if only seconds would soon add up .

What I have noticed is memory for anything ! has got a lot cheaper .
