Believe me, ive stood on that picket line losing money while our Representive Elect on the Divisional council stood outside the pub over the road Pint in one hand, Fag in Mouth & Mobile fone in other hand laughing at us while we lost money. You know when that guy lost in the next election the post he had held for 5yrs or more he couldnt handle putting the monkey suit back on & ending up quitting the job because it was too much for him to do a days work.
& that doesnt mean Higson & co werent having a beer & snacks whilst laughing at us too.

Re: TALKS UPDATE
Fair enough but I think Dave and Billy are totally committed to this and treating it with the seriousness it deserves. After having my doubts to begin with I wouldn't want anyone else on the job right now.

Oh definitely, i totally agree with you there - you cant question the leadership. I'm behind them 100% , maybe my sense of humour isnt partial to everyone ;-)opgpat wrote:Fair enough but I think Dave and Billy are totally committed to this and treating it with the seriousness it deserves. Re: TALKS UPDATE
I have to question RMs willingness to reach an agreement
when you see the scale of the shadow network (as the BBC called it today)
that they are building up.
It goes well beyond a contingency plan and then continues into pursuing a strike-breaking policy .

Re: TALKS UPDATE
Listen fellow brothers and sisters this dispute has been caused by Higson, Crozier and Lady Mandelson. They are striving between themselves to smash the C.W.U. so that we do not stand in the way when the privitisation bill raises its ugly head again. I would like to hear from Brendan Barber, T.U.C. leader, to hear his comments on what happened and why R.M. walked away from progressive talks, yet again.
