I hope losing Â£ by going out is not the way!! But as we all know RM only wake up when WE WALK... But as i said before DO THEY WANT US OUT REALLY??? Political games and scudugery!!! IM BEHIND YOU ALL THE WAY BURSLEM AND BIG DAVE!!! I feel gutted as all you must be.. Any attack on a Friend, work colleague, union member, IS a direct attack on all of us.

RM must be the most thickest employer in the country, they had a chance here to show some common sense, give big D a slap on the wrist and let him carry on working, and let Burslem DO get back to normal, even though two customer witness statements proved that the two bosses had lied, even though the male boss has been disiplined before for his agressive attitude, even though big D has 13 years exemplary record with no time off sick, and is a well liked postman by bosses, postmen and customers alike, you still sacked him, d****heads. To the boss who has taken instruction on what to do from his superiors and sacked big D, and who said that the two customer statements were inadmisable, i can tell you this, an industrial tribunal will not think that,RM will hang you out to dry because your going to get another a***ehole ripped in you at the I.T.
Bosses in this area have-
sexually harassed female workers.
given out personel details of a postman to his neighbours
been caught fidling their exspenses
sexually harassing a member of the public
Bullying staff
ALL HAVE KEPT THEIR JOBS, NONE HAVE BEEN SACKED

Spot on Johno47, I have been a postie for many years, and Royal Mail do not give a Flying F**k about what is right, as long as they get what they want, us posties can go and swivel.

Big Dave is a honest, hard working, helpful man of 62 years of age, and Royal Mail SACK him knowing that they are wrong to do it, IT STINKS AND ROYAL MAIL KNOW IT.

MORALES OF A SKUNK that manager who sacked Big Dave today, must be after a promotion because kissing ass can not be working for him, W*****

Big Dave will go to appeal. If the RM manager who oversees this procedure understands common principles then Dave will win. If not it will go to an industrial tribunal the let's see what RM say under oath.
Two members of the public witnessed what happened and gave statements, RM chose to ignore these. THEY WILL NOT BE ABLE TO DO THIS IN COURT.

GOOD LUCK DAVE ALL THOSE WHO KNOW AND RESPECT YOU KNOW THE TRUTH.

As Baggee once said 'RM managers must drink a lot of Horlicks' I don't know how they sleep at night.

Royal Mail think that they can do whatever they want and get away with it. They dismiss a good worker without looking at the facts of the case. They are not bothered about the consequences. A six day strike,lack of customer confidence,lazy and incompetant managers and agency staff facing the public. I never went to the London School of Economics but I can still see that this is not a good business strategy. Dave will win hands down at IT and we are not intimidated by their lies,bullying and false propaganda. We have got strength in our unity and will not be back handed by Royal Mail's cheap and disgaceful tactics!!!!!!!!!!

Today I read the local area paper "The Evening Sentinel" and, was amazed to discover that Burslem D.O workers are staging a 6 day "unofficial strike" ,apparently due to local CWU members taking part in an official ballot in which 90% voted in favour of strike action.This is the same newspaper/toilet paper that reported that Burslem postmen/women are having educational learning to aid in our ability to read customers addresses.Maybe their one sided view of reporting things may have something to do with the papers anti trade union stance? Or perhaps just the poor journalistic skills of its reporters and editor!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

THE TRUTH IS OUT THERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But not in The Evening Sentenel.
