Now we know he is not a postman. How could you go out on delivery with your bag that high?
And who wears a t-shirt under a short sleeved shirt?
Definite fake.
Also the pouch is brand new, never been used. Which means a manager has supplied it. There is no-way a postie would get a new pouch for a photo-shoot unprompted. Oh and he hasn't got a single letter on him. Some postman. Dissapoinnted to see he hasn't got a guitar with him.
FFS mate, cheer up, only another 4 bags to go ........
He's getting caffiene withdraw symptons .... :cuppa

A mate of mine was taught guitar by Bert, way back - I'll give him a shout to see if he thinks this is a reincarnation :Very Happy Whoops, blimey Bert is still around and still playing, good on 'im :Applause

Wouldn't it be a corker if someone did recognise this 'person' and he turned out to be something other than a postie?

Hold up on the Bert theory...think it could actually be Tommy Boyd of Magpie/Talk Sport fame.

"Just get your mates to keep it up. We've never had it so good."

It was, of course, a DHL courier van.

Not what a guy from DHL said to me the other week, he said they didnt want us to go on strike because they would have to do more work for the same money !!

The major flaw with this article - which I think is fake but there you go that's me - is it doesn't live up to it's title!!!

WHY did he not go on strike???? I was waiting for the answer to that as it appears the whole reason for the piece!!!

I read it twice and all he mentions is he is 'dissapointed' with the union for not negotiating a settlement!

mmm is that a reason for not going on strike then? Because the union haven't reached an agreement to prevent strikes?!?!?!!

So basically he will NEVER go on strike because if he had to it would mean the union hadn't reached an agreement which would have prevented strikes. mmm I am confused.

Sounds like the ULTIMATE defeatest attitude!!!
I agree. He just seems to contradict himself, saying he's annoyed by senior managers claims, but it's all the unions fault :hmmmm

I could not agree more, a totally misleading piece. Which I find ironic when the author of 'why I didn't go on strike' sought to remind everyone of the site's misuse policy. If there's ever a post that should be removed this is it!
