Got a reply back from the DWP today just saying they have got to make enquires about my employment and medical history. Also says I will have to attend a medical in due course.

Finally got my Stage 3 deliberations this week for my AOD, was only reverted back to a stage 2 because
1. No evidence of the AOD being fully investigated.
2. I was'nt informed of the outcome of the investigation.
3. No evidence within the office of the severe weather policy being briefed prior to going out on delivery in January.
4. Being sent home even though I attended work but told no indoor work available.
5. ATOS report states abscences linked to AOD.
6. Took nearly 3 months for Stage 3 interview to be done.

Someone should be held to account for putting you through 3 months of stress.

Think about investigating your stage 2,if they screwed up your stage 3 this badly chances are they screwed up your stage 2
Remember you can appeal stage 1 and 2 on breach of procedure despite what management and some reps may tell you.

Am passing the deliberation on to the Area H & S rep. My delivery rep suggests we appeal, which I agree with, as this was an AOD and I've been punished for doing my job. Apparently I was 3 days short of the Stage 3 not being triggered......3 days FFS

Got letters back off HQ and the DWP today. HQ said my papers have been passed onto solicitors in London to see if a claim exists. The DWP said 'I am writing to tell you that we have decided the accident you had on **.01.09 was an industrial accident', so thats good news, just waiting on a date for a medical.
