HAS ANY OFFICE BEEN HAVING RANDOM POUCH CHECKS THIS WEEK??

Post by smartie »

OUR OFFICE HAS HAD THEM AND TO TELL YOU THE TRUTH IT LOOKS LIKE AN EASY WAY TO GET RID OF STAFF.
SO FAR I KNOW OF TWO SUSPENSIONS.
FUNNY HOW THEY SEEM TO HAVE DONE THIS JUST AFTER THE STRIKE. CANT REMEMBER THE LAST TIME THAT THEY DID POUCH CHECKS.
PREHAPS THE MANAGERS ARE IN FOR A RUN OF BONUSES TO SEE HOW MANY STAFF THEY CAN GET RID OF SO EASILY.

BE CAREFUL EVERYONE, IF YOU HAVE MAIL LEFT OVER AFTER YOUR DELIVERY JUST PUT IT IN YOUR NEAREST POSTBOX DONT TAKE IT HOME!!

As long as you send everything back in the blue pouch you shouldn't have a problem. Pouching off is safer than losing your job.

All mail to be delivered unless you have informed your DUM that you cannot do it so to keep yourself right deliver all your missorts.

Not sure that is good advice. i know of posties who have done that, when they were questioned they had photocopies of each item and was dismissed for delaying the mail.

don't think any of us had pouch checks but a few of us noticed on saturday that our frames had been tampered with like re-di cards scattered all over the place as if they suspected we had hidden a letter or something. they wouldn't stoop to that would they?

I hope someone checks your work each week for mistakes.------ah but that dosen't matter if you mess up.
Doing that to the staff every week does not create trust or produce a good workplace enviroment.

My understanding is that if you are within your time and you find missorted letters you are obliged to redeliver. But if you have no time left you should show dom. A lot of those posties running around, coming in early, are bringing back several missorts, soon they will be in trouble, keep warning them but, 'they know best'.
