The history of the CWU from what I know of it, seems to be that of people becoming dissatisfied with their leaders and PEC members and replacing them with ones they think will be better only for the next lot to turn out to sign similar rubbish deals.
Anyway right now the 'sell out' hasn't quite happened. At the moment we can do everything we can to let the PEC know that many of us will be extremely angry if they call off the strikes and that they may lose their positions unless they can tell us they voted against calling off the strikes.
I agree & we need something in place to "try" & stop these things happening again & again, WE are the union & those we vote for SHOULD listen to us at all times, not decide for us, which is really what RM & the government do on a daily basis
May have a few problems getting 120000 posties in a negotiating room
