Dear Colleagues,
CMA Members Activities during the Dispute
We have been asked to draw up a list of examples where CMA members have
been carrying out CWU members work during the dispute.. Preferably we
need the names of any CMA officials who have actively engaged in this
activity. It is extremely important that we are able to identify them by
name, place of work and the dates when they undertook our members work.
Please provide this information (preferably by email) to Norman Candy,
ncandy@cwu.org, in the Postal Department at the earliest opportunity.
Regards,
Norman Candy

Most Managers are in CMA/Unite you could also just test them out by saying something like " I thought your Union asked you all to only do your jobs and not postmens jobs during the dispute" and see what they say.

Re: CMA Members Activities during the Dispute
We've been told that it's just admin & support managers this applies to and not operational managers
. I would have thought it applies to ALL CMA/Unite managers. We have a couple(that I know of) of good managers who will not work any more than their hours (i.e. they won't do overtime) as they don't agree with earning extra money off our backs.
One manager claims he never got a letter from CMA/Unite regarding not doing posties work !
