This may well be fiction but as I said on another thread, the Mirror is no friend of the postman.
I know that my colleagues back in the 70's used to complain about the anti postal staff bias of the Mirror but I can't remember exactly what the reason is behind it. Surprising really in a rag that used to say it supported Labour and the workers.

Having read his speil, i have come to the conclusion that it must be real, it has to be!
Firstly he is obviously a postman/manager (as they are now called) i think thats their new job description...
Failing that,he is a part time worker as he has only worked for RM for 5 years.
Conclusion KEN GIBSON postie with 5 years service ponders why he is still a part-time postie after crossing picket line!!!!!!!!!

That's a very fair post. I hope he refuses to accept any benefits which this strike might bring. If he was to accept them, he'd be a hypocrite as well as a scab. But then perhaps the highest form of hypocrisy is being a scab.william wrote:Well what can be said, there but go for the grace of god go I, but when my parents brought me up they taught me to have respect for myself and others and if I see an unjust thing being done, to stand up and do something about it, not to bleat like a sheep, that is after all how Hitler got in not enough people standing by there moral compass he says royal mail is twisting the facts about mail volume we all know that so what does he do goes into work and lets others fight his fight for what is right

Don't be harsh with people who don't want or unwilling to strike. They may have a mortgage to pay or a family to feed.
