Managers union now involved, it gets better!!

The Managers are doing the work of striking posties because they know they will be getting a big bonus at the end of this
dispute. It doesn`t matter if Unite tells them not to do the work of striking postmen, they will still do it. I know of admin managers who do not work on Saturdays, but you can be sure that they will be in work next Saturday delivering specials, so their excuse that they have no choice is bull. I have no sympathy for them at all.

Managers job will start to go when they start merging the mail centres. The managers at the delivery offices could be safe in their jobs, this depends on whether delivery offices close or merge. All I can say is those ex-posties that got lucky and ended-up has managers (you know who are you?) you just enjoy being managers for now because you have no chance of becoming a manager else where when RM makes you redundant.

Wasn't there talk of creating Super DO's to help with all the new machinery? I'm sure that to reduce the number of W.S machines needed, that small Offices in a specific region would be merged into one big Office in a central area. Anyone else heard of this?

What theyre trying to do up North now is the same they done down South nearly 10 years ago - while we were shafted down South all we saw was smiley faces in the Courier newspaper about how happy everyone was ?? Strangely they all came from office's up North - you want to of seen the miserable faces of those down South & the way we were treated. Weve already had this, & its definitely coming for you too.
