Thank goodness for Dave Ward , without doubt should be No1. Speaks volumes when Crozier and Higgson not even attended talks, perhaps too busy counting their bonus. Seriously though where were they when by their own words this dispute could make or break RM, yet neither the No1 or No2 of RM see fit to attend abolutally terible !!!! Also big to the Scotish Labour back bencher who spoke up for us on BBC news chanel big time blaming RM managment.

they must have some kind of plan.

like the danger educated union member badge TBT, are HQ doing them and if so how much extra are they asking as i'm sure our subs have paid for them? and while i'm on the subject if 120000 posties pay £2.82pw in to the union thats £338400pw x that by 52 thats £17596800pa if our last national strike was in 2007 thats over £35193600 if you then wack the interest on top of that it would have to around the figure to a minimum of £38000000 in 2 years.
It would be nice for every union member to have a copy of cwu yearly accounts to see where this money is going. Why I ask is that yes I have no problem striking for what we believe in otherwise why be a union member, however as the old saying goes "baby needs shoes" and if our beloved leaders say that with great simpathy to the general public we have no alternative but to strike then we strike, however they must then have a plan to compensate every striking member with at least half a days pay dont you think, otherwise members like myself who have chosen Royal Mail as there sole job will and are starting to find things a bit difficult, unlike others who have secured second jobs i.e cab drivers and are just using Royal Mail as a top up and as I believe not that passionate about the enviroment there working in as they can just get up and go if all falls around there ears. How long will the cwu allow this reduction in wage to continue? how long is it until i have to starve just to feed my family.
I have had a good sleep last night and woken with a positive frame of mind and believe that i'm surrounded by F**king Idiots

Come on lads we have had 1 day off (unless your a Londoner) .I.A doesn't come without sacrifice. All Posties want this dispute settled ASAP, but think of the alternative , even less people drawing a RM wage, lower wage for those lucky enough to still be in a job (part time working, loss of D2D etc etc) your wages could be down £100 every week if they have their way and dont forget as they want us to work in the middle of the day there will be little chance of a second job to supplement your new lower wage!!! All stick together and settle the dispute ASAP
