This is just like buying a days holiday really - except that you get the chance to go to the pub with people you like while people you don't like are working
We wish to serve - but we will not be servile

That just about says it all. Congratulations on your 'success', I hope your one day down the pub is worth it. What a depressing day, though you all seem to be triumphant. Aren't you missing the point? Then again, what is the point. Will the last of you left who care about your customers please turn out the lights.rhino49 wrote:This is just like buying a days holiday really - except that you get the chance to go to the pub with people you like while people you don't like are working

any deal they could have made now whilst under time restraints,i wouldnt trust in a million years.it would only mean our unions given up half cocked again and royal mail got everything they wanted.royal mail and the government need the strikes to cover up the serious problems they've made and to turn joe public to privatise.
the only reason to privatise is the pension gap.but if they part privatise the government will pay it(outta the years of profits theve taken from the company).the government need the 30 billion in the pension fund, probably to bribe us all before the next election

It'd only be a triumph if there was a positive outcome. Only an idiot cheers for a strike, unless he actually likes losing money.

Re: strikes to go ahead!
Have you any idea why we are striking, it quite clear from your comment, you have absolutely no idea what going,I wish people like you would do a research, rather than making ill inform comments, we are trying to save the post office, we are trying to save our jobs, there are guys right across all the country having their hours cut without any warnings, some even losing their duties, plans to make posties start later like, 9am for example, do you realise that one day, you won't have posties coming to your door, instead you will have to collect your mail, like they do in other countries, instead of listening to what the media say and relying on their judgement, do your own research, and please note we won't get a single penny while we are out on strike, at least us posties have some backbone, unlike people like youCustomerConnieagain wrote:That just about says it all.
