Nah .... i`ve got a bad feeling about this press conference , 5-live news just said they are still talking and there will be a press conference, i bet they postpone the strikes to continue talks !

This press conference is proberly to announce strikes for next week,it'll be the 7 day notice the CWU need to give and i'll guess the strikes will be Weds/Thurs,i of course could be wrong and the two sides have struck a deal.

Lets keep our cool and remember what a strike would mean...at the very least it would give the rotten managment all the amo they need with regards to loss of business and now the need to cut more and more jobs and contracts. If its a call off of strike action to talk via a 3rd party (Acas) with no conditions then it can only be a good thing. Like I said in an earlier feed give them a week. If its not resolved then we will hit them with everything we have.

We are bigger and better than this shower of trash so lets do the right thing. It will only stand us in good sted and show us to be the ones willing to do a deal.

I'm carrying out some maintenance work in a royal mail office in central london at this moment in time and it's like a school playground. The managers are shouting all kinds of stuff down the phones. I guess you have got them where it hurts.

They are like that in the delivery offices too, when the s**t hits the fan they panic and start running round with big saucer eyes. bless.

I'm expecting the strikes are on still, me thinks RM are ready for a long battle. To me strikes still on.

I have heard from the inside strikes still on with progress being scuppered by higson and interference from the goverment :mfo
