It's bullshit,has to be.
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

You should have watched the Channel 4 Despatches Programme tonight about the Police's riot training.
They have to justify all that expense somehow.

That's a clever statement, because that is exactly what the RM management want to see.
Have you never heard of protesting in a civil manner. If you kick off then that is all the government will need to bring in new anti-protesting laws. This is meant to be a peaceful protest, not a street war. If you think that chinning people will help this situation then you are very wrong indeed. Remember that the whole of Europe will be watching this dispute.
They might clap someone in jail for that :hmmmm - didn't a miner's wife get 18 months for shoplifting a loaf of bread in 84 ? - The Magistrate said she was a enemy of the state  , bet that magistrate got promoted :hmmmm

RM wanted staff ( I know it sounds daft ! ) clapping in the cells in 2007 - that idiot Bo**ie 4* on Hellmail - " Any slight against your colleagues will result in a night in the cells " . Might have been a flight of fantasy but you can never underestimate RM's instuitionalized stupidity :hmmmm :hmmmm - apparently there's been DIM DUM's that have called the fire brigade out for picket line brazier fires and the Police out for " breach of the peace " - pathetic maybe but ........... .

Fortunately common sense prevailed with the Police & Fire Services apparently

Mate I'm not having a go I'm really not but be careful, anything you say here will be available on the internet for ever. If we look like a bunch of thugs it won't do our cause any good.
Rant over. I'm on the ciders.
Cheers.

That's not what I'm saying. I'm saying the papers will quote parts of this site and use it to attack the strike and its participants.
They do not think we are thugs and it is unwise to give them the ammunition to say that we are.

 To true--the best thing we can all do is stand in silence as those who choose too cross the line---I intend to do this, and turn by back.

I'm not even going to answer "underpaid", what's the point. The media will have a field day with posts like his/hers. Violence will not help this situation in the least, also if there is even a slight chance that there maybe violence a lot of people will not even stand on the Picket-Line through fear of getting hurt themselves or being arrested for no other reason than being there when a fight breaks out. I think that anyone on this site that proposes violence on the Picket-Line should be removed from RoyalMailChat. But I don't have that capability so I will leave that to the forum administrators to decide.

The sort of people advocating violence will be wanting the Union to wave a magic wand and get them reinstated afterwards .

Mark White from Hellmail will be lurking on this forum looking for any little thing that he can distort and twist , then he'll publish a article stirring it all up - that's his job , the article will then be on the RM bosses laptops and things will happen :hmmmm  AND there's newspapers / news agencies that get RSS feeds off that site .

It was obvious in 2007 that RM were on the lookout for any little thing , staff from Bristol were put through the wringer and went through hell on earth when they hadn't done nothing . As for the manager who set the RM CofC machine in motion and pushed it up the line - who the hell was he trying to impress ? :hmmmm :hmmmm

RM did their damnedest to protect and cover for him :hmmmm

There's already been two Bristol reps that have been suspended for being " inappropriately dressed " on the picket line for wearing football scarves - it's all B/S but the RM boxes would have been ticked .

Down in my neck of the woods they have been recruiting o hr casuals for several months now. But not used them. Meanwhile we watch as packets and parcels mount up and vacancies also mount up in every delivery office in the area. Why have these so called trained RM casuals sitting by..........Is anyone that stupid to think its only for xmas.
This Labour government is in cahoots with R.M out to smash the C.W.U. whatever way it can. And still that fat f+++++ keeps paying our money to labour bastards.
