Do managers sort mail in your office?

they do in my office this morning we had four managers sorting the mail left over from the nightshift.

They can't as they are too busy drinking tea and watching us sorting. Then seemingly going blind when people just walk past them to prep their own walks. Hey as long as 2 or 3 are willing to do the work why stop them?

The managers in my office cut and tip mail all the time. One also sorts it. Our rep has tackled them about it but they do it when no one is around. The best though is when they hide the missorts when the quality guy comes in. I've been handed some trays of mail on several occassions and with a nod and a wink been asked to, "take these trays for a little run in your van". It's all ammunition I can use against them if they start any s**t with me.

YES THEY SORT ALL THE TIME IN OUR OFFICE.
THEY ARE ALLOWED TO, AS BEFORE THEY WAS NOT ALLOWED TO ,SOMETHING CALLED RANK AND FILE.
YEARS AGO WE WOULD WALK OF THE FLOOR IF A MANAGER STARTED SORTING ETC.
IT HAS ALL CHANGED NOW THEY CAN DO IT.

they dont sort any mail where i am they dont cut and tip mail just stand there talking or drinking.
mind u we do have 2 postmen that come in for free about 3am some times and dont start till 5 jokers..

You've got more chance of seeing Lord Lucan riding past on Shergar lit up by the glow from Haley's Comet that you have of seeing our 'managers' doing any meaningful work.

managers at our place sort mail,drop pouches,prep missort run,prep walks,and do the walks that even the most hard up of postmen won't do! they do the walks on saturday that nobody will do(since that fantastic offer of 5 hours for a full walk on your day off) regards dongash opg macclesfield sk
