Hi Hess

You can only picket your own place of work but an area or Divi rep can picket their patch.

Having read your only 3 posts...I think I get the picture now..!! Small office,40 staff of which only 10-15 are in the union, you all lost money once, went in the huff and came out the union en mass..! And now you's flex every day, clear all your mail and STILL finish early every day...oohh....and your all happy. So..that's what matters you and your happy wee office and fuk everybody else...!! We've all had bad times a LOT LOT worse than your poky wee D.O. ,but we're all still there fighting the good fight. You don't think the IA in 2007 was worth it...who does...? But we're not giving in...!! Look forward to the day your office gets what's coming to it....!!

Think you might be able to picket an alternative office if it is nearer to your home

Just by reading your post it is plain to see you are a dim dom. Don't you have something else to do, like picking on a casual or something similar?
BTW is brown nosing part of your dim dom training programme?

Once again it is a case of needing to see the bigger picture - RM depend on workers only seeing their own little patch, hoping they won't care about the wider concerns. While it's easier for small offices to go in during strike action - it takes a lot more guts to stand up with the rest of the country and make a stand against RM's dictatorship approach to change.

Try telling that to the smaller offices (this topic is an example of that) - if the smaller offices saw the bigger picture, they wouldn't be crossing picket lines.

lol wish i was a dom better money. i wouldnt say our office is great some days we have 2 flex up on 3 duty when people are sick. but the union can be a bit of a pain in the ass some times. in the little office we seem to work together a little more ie no one uses cars, no one goes out untill all dutys have been prep and missort run is back so this means everyone goes out at same time. then most people finish about the same time.

:lfo

I just dont know if the union is listening to the work force this time and its ok for the big boss of the union to mouth off he is on £100k a year which we pay our union fee for .

I am not going to rip your head off about not going out, your choice.... :arrrghhh
BUT your only a very small office and if RM get all their own way your future working their could be grim as you run a high risk of being closed down and your workload being absorbed by a larger unit

Of course by then it will be to late to ask the union for help :d'oh!
Rows of houses all bearing down on me........I can feel their blue hands touching me.......All these things in all positions.........All these things will one day take control..........
