The buzz of Friday was not there yesterday, extra sorting, DSA mailing for every house. Luckily just before tying up we were told to take them where we are going, I think they were scared by the amount of potential cut offs. Unfortunately the ones who had come in early had already tied up before being told about it and took the lot

Very light today , sat about talking for half an hour, after most had gone started delivering at 9.30- home for 12.30 ( steady pace ) and also what a beautiful october day off to take the bike out for a spin now.....

Average day volume wise but ended up working over my time by an hour because doing the job safely makes it almost impossible to do within the alloted time now (thanks to executive action).

I wonder if Postcomm knows RM managers are authorising leaving DSA, which is all supposed to be delivered the day it comes in?

Back in today after my weekend off. The traffic was ok, even the packets were on the light side. What I did notice about today was the way the managers were unusually quiet, particularly the DOM. Not sure if this had anything to do with the dispute and instructions from above or even their union. Apparently it was the same yesterday.Just wondering whether anybody else noticed this in their office?

Manager sickness levels are through the roof ,hence the Higson Order. Not even any rest day management cover for our office so they sent a tea lady and told her to lock herself in the office all day,look busy and talk to no one

After being taken off packets on saturday to cover a walk and waiting 2 hours on monday for a van , i got a van straight away today to try and clear the backlog of my packets only to recieve a phonecall telling me to come back to office after 2 hours to do a collection as there was no cover . Usual day really .

Really heavy today. Managed to get confirmation from the DOM that the pouch box I asked for back in September.... 08 that is, is finally on its way.

Another awful day. Very busy and still lapsing a full bag each. No one else taking breaks, just running round and driving out in private cars saying 'please boss, look at me, can I have some extra work boss'.

worst day we've seen for years in our office, i culled my walk, left 1hour 20 mins work in the office and i still went over my time , when i got back they had drafted posties in from other offices 2 do the mail we had left!!! Off 2moro, and will be on picket on Fri :mfo :cfo :lfo

Well this whole week has been little mail mostly last mile stuff. However today the managers must have gave us the 2 fingers by putting out as much as they could .
Still smile and take what they throw at us thigs surely can't get any worse.

I had so many people asking why I was not on strike I had to say we are out tommorrow , It mede me an hour later in finishing so i Claimed,

We will only have one person going in who always seem to , and asked someone if he would get any one moaning at him sorry did not want to use other words in case it got me in trouble

Busy, as to be expected. Sensed a slight change in the DOMs attitude, a bit on edge I thought. People asking about the strikes, they seemed a bit confused to see me delivering as usual. Think the wording in some news articles got them in a muddle.
