Pouching Off - Returning undeliverable mail back into the system (There are many methods and you will be advised of the local method when you start)

Deads - Letters than are being returned to sender for any reason.

Not all delivery offices are the same, you could end up on a training round for a few months with good prep everyday and find it not bad atall. You will have to wait and see but if you remember the advice here no matter how bad or good it is you will be absolutely fine. Last tip, be polite to the managers but don't be taken for a ride by them.

It depends on the duty. Some you do everything (except IPS), some have some sorting done for you. I cover a handful of duties, some are 6 hours, so I claim an hour overtime. Some of the duties have lots of help, some none. Some have twice as many houses. It just depends, you'll have to wait and see.
