Mangleson says....

Post by Cut Off King »

Mandelson said the CWU had promised to accept the reforms if the part-privatisation move was dropped.

"During the passage of the Postal Services Bill the union kept saying to me 'withdraw the legislation and we will embrace modernisation voluntarily',"

Worrying if true, but I wouldn't believe a thing Mandy says, hes just trying to stir up trouble & rescenment.

Very good....... accept terms to stop part privatisation which means we take one in the ass all day safe in the knowledge that the other lot who will take over Government next year will privatise us anyway.....

No wonder Mandelson has little credibility spouting pish like that !

Not that he took any notice of the union offer.

In the end the only thing that stopped him is that nobody was prepared to stump up the cash

He the grubby little sh!t that he is a liar a charlatan and a thief his lies are easily dismissed by the hundreds of ballots of industrial action which have been cast and put into effect by all postal workers in this land and should be continued till the very end of this dispute!.

thats what he says but the truth is the campaign by the cwu, and the backing of a huge chunk of the Parliamentary Labour Party stopped him
