doesn't add up - sounds like the sort of thing RM would use to get rid of uniformed staff , ticks all the boxes and impresses more senior managers - As for Witnesses - find some managers to swear blind that a ex rep goaded and harassed someone - easy promotion . That's what I'm used toDirtyHarry wrote:OK, I detest bullies, their actions are the actions of the basest coward imaginable, and they should be flushed out, and then shipped out.headscrewedon wrote:Deal.DirtyHarry wrote:headscrewedon, I will tell you, if you tell me what you think of the widespread bullying and harrassment by managers of staff, which happens on a daily basis, at almost every office/mc, and of which I've been a victim myself, and was primarily the reason I voted to take strike action.
Deal, or no deal?
Once again, I am NOT a manager. It is to be expected that a chat forum dealing with postal issues will attract more new members when something major like a strike is affecting them, is it not ? Or would people prefer this is a closed forum only open to members that all hold the same view, with no room for debate (i.e. what a forum is supposed to be for ???) and no new members allowed ?
Of course I do not condone the widespread bullying and harrassment by managers of staff. I have experienced it and had to take out a grievance to make it stop. But equally, two wrongs do not make a right. It's double standards - particularly for an ex-rep - to say they are against bullying but then actually inflict it on someone, especially if they are not even a RM employee
By the by, I didn't say you were a manager, did I?
I don't condone that sort of bullying if it has happened , I've worked for agencies - it's absolute sh**** and as for agency staff crossing picket lines - they're more to be pitied than scorned
