I'll second that, mate. This Postal_thingymajig seems to talk a good talk about work and working, but I suspect he's a right lazy shirker, you know, the type that always seems to become managers because there's no real work involved, as anybody would know from simply observing their DIM of a morning. Unless, here in modern Britain, lifting a coffee to one's lips, whilst leaning on a cage/door/table/up against the assistant DIM, or doing their Tesco shopping on the computer, is regarded as being an "industry" by today's lop-sided standards.

Yes, when it comes to leaning on things, these people are bloody heroes. But what else can you expect? They lean on us to give them their unearned income and bonuses.

Bring these people in who are prepared to work for their money, many of them will not last long when they realise the amount of work they have to do espeically when they are put on deliveries or if they end-up at a mail centre cutting and tipping all day.

Did anyone see the "postmen beware - there's lots of people after you're jobs out there", how on earth did our nation become infested with such idiots. If Mandelson & Crozier ever do manage to add me to the mounting total of unemployed, the very last job on earth I'll be going for, will be a low-paid, part-time one, In Mandelson and Crozier's "New Model postal service."
Nah, any stuck-up moron who helps bring that scenario about, will have to live with the fact that some of their taxes will be used to pay for my enforced idleness, because at my age, I won't be in too much of a hurry to re-join the rat race. No way.

Feet up for me too mate! A life ahead of reading (The English Civil War always fascinates me), listening to good music (I recommend Ralph Vaughan Williams, George Butterworth, Arnold Bax, Edward Elgar, Walton, Frank Bridge. The British composers are just brilliant!). Why should I go out to work when I can follow the example of the rich and idle? Members of Parliament, the Royal Family, British managers. They don't work, why should we? I'll develop a bad back (and after a life of working on building sites and carrying bag loads of unsolicited rubbish, who could doubt me?) And, of course, a nice lump sum to see me safely to the pub of a weekend. Real Ale! Bring it on!
