Dave Ward is not a good PR man, he may be good as a union man but his public speaking and press interviews are very poor
Don't you think though that Billy repeats himself a tadd too much. ACAS errr ACAS and err ACAS? What was he scared of when asked if we were gonna pull out of the Labour Party? Worried about his new job once this one goes tits up?

I can't help thinking the union needs to employ a pucker PR man like most large companies do nowadays . . . we need to get our message accross properly, nothing against our top boys they're just not trained to deal with the media

It is very negative. It trying to tell us we should bend over and do what Royal Mail want and if we don't we will lose all the business and everyone will be out of job.

Mandy look shiffy again. I am amazed he doesn't work for Royal Mail.

I hate to say this, but I think we have a long road ahead, this strike is going to about 1 thing and 1 thing only and that is, how long can we stay out for? We all have financial commitments, mortgages and family’s and just before xmas, we are in serious trouble, I just hope acas get in involved

Just saw a guy on BBC News 24 who knew what he was talking about. Think he was some sort of postal expert. said that Mandelson`s comment that the strike was "suicidal" was well over the top and that the strike stems from the 2007 agreement.
Also said that reports that RM would lose business were well wide of the mark as our competitors were now having to apologise to their own customers because they couldn`t guarantee that their mail would be delivered because it`s us who deliver it for them!

am press officer for the lifeboat and the reason why you keep on repeating yourself is that he has already talked about the questions he is going to be asked and what he is going to answer but some times the interviewer asked something not scripted and you are trained to stickto the answers already decided before on air, either that or you end up loosing the plot and you sound like your a f**kwit!! :d'oh!
