This causes resentment and I can well imagine university trained management using satellite navigation systems to decide routes when the best way to get round the job has been established by long experience.
Perhaps the fact that our postal service was better in the 1930's using steam trains speaks volumes for the effectiveness of the current management of our postal services.

His main point was to get across the reluctance of Royal Mail and the government i.e. the prince of darkness to bring in a third party to investigate. For once i thought he got his point across but as for the other bloke..... Suggests he pops down his local mail centre / delivery office to see what it's really like

So , RM plans to force through all changes with or without agreement ! Why don't RM want ACAS involved ? What have they got to hide ?

I wonder how much of a bonus :cfo will get when RM no longer exists ? Meanwhile WE are the bad ones accused of causing the ultimate demise of RM JUST because we care about the service , Health and Safety in the workplace and are fighting AGAINST the total destruction of the company .
Any managers looking in , make the most of any bonuses you get now because it isn't going to last much longer.
