Hi,
Maybe someone could clear something up for me.
Iv tried to use the two recent incidents involving posties using cars on delivery and the police to push for people to stop using their cars on delivery at my d.o.
The way i understand it if you didnt have courier insurance (approx £400 extra ) then you could not drop bags off or move your car on delivery. Everything was going well and people were genuinly thinking of just driving to their first point of delivery (better than nothing), when - the dom pulls out a document where you sign and it clearly said for conveyance to first part of delivery and for movement of car during delivery at the managers request.
So my plan fell sharply on it arse, so what were the two guys who got their cars impounded on delivery doing wrong?

One dude did not let his private insurers know that he was using the car for business, you have to send a letter to them when you sign the bond.so what were the two guys who got their cars impounded on delivery doing wrong?
I can't rem the other one.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
