we have 25 members of staff in our ofice 21 members,4 non members.
no members attended work but 2 non members did, 2 others from elsewhere was picked up by one of two manager, which i must add was covered with blankets so they would not identified. how sad are they. One manager delivered special's.

we had 9 members attend the picket between 03.30-09.00 gotsoaked, support from bus drivers, police and members of the public.
Reports that most offices in the area had good support would say they had 90-100% support, all but one which had all but 4 deliveries delivered. Bloody strike breakers.
We are not going no where Leighton,Crozier, stand up and listen to the work force

Ditto that but I've yet to hear whether or not it was 100%...mainly a good bunch but one or two weak links that may have been tempted to cross. Let you know more when I know more.
Well done to everyone else. I can see that the 60% claims by RM are complete bollox!!

I'm utterly disgusted. We have about 60 in our office. And around 20 of em worked.
We also have subs, and from what i hear they all worked.
Boss bought em all a bacon sarni. And gave em all one hour o/t each.(so much for cut backs).
There's no getting through to em.Thick as pig s**t the lot of em !!! :evil/mad

Have since found out that out of our office of just about 30, 1 man did sneak in. Sadly, noone sorted out a picket line so it's not common knowledge yet....
I was on leave but next strike I'll organise a picket, even if it's just bloody me!!

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
