Re: Mark Higson reply to Dave Ward
Higson can't run the company or engage with a mix of skilled full- and part-time staff, what chance do you think the company has of surviving if a disinterested, poorly paid, part-time workforce is the mainstay delivery model for the future?
As for new technology and walk-sequencing, our 'super-sized' mail centre can't even manage to get walk-sorted mail to the correct offices on a regular basis .. can you imagine how much longer offices would have to wait for the walk-sequenced mail to reach it if it followed the same route? ... it would be mid-afternoon before posties got out of the door!
Teething problems? ... my ass!!!! ... incompetent managers trying to run an over-stretched infrastructure more like.
This summer RM had hoped that privatisation would enable the senior directors et al to have buggered off with their pockets full of money (that we should rightfully have had a share in) and their pension pots full to overflowing (while ours sinks into a black hole). With privatisation suspended they have now been caught out, as the thin veneer of sticky-backed plastic and blue plasters that was holding the company together is starting to come apart at the seams.
Thanks for nothing Crozier et al! :cfo

If Royal Mail had nothing to hide they would accept the peace deal, so what are they hiding I wonder?

We've just been told, that in Jan we will have to make a saving of between 5% and 35%, they're not sure how much to screw us by, we can't cope now, and thats after a Georoute about 6 months ago.
TBH he just lives in a dream world, we have people off with stress and depression, that can't mean a normal and good place to work, apart rfom the highups in RM.

He wanted evidence, well there you have it in black and white. Its a shame he can't see the true colours within royal mail...leave him to write more useless letters, because he is in his own little bubble.stokes11eg wrote:So--he rejects the fact that there is widespread bullying---wake up and smell the coffee or look at your H.Y.S
