there's that vile Red Watch Site , they officially don't condone it but prominent BNP people have "encouraged" people to put certain people's pictures up on it . I think ? a guy from Liverpool " coincidentally " got a right pasting after being on that site , he wasn't a Trot or a Tanky or anything like that , just a ordinary trade unionist .

Of course cuts in Royal Mail would be very easy if the BNP got their way. About a fifth of the workforce would be removed for being black, or Asian or Polish or any of the other racist reasons the BNP insists on. And as for the union, fascists have always been the sworn enemies of trade unions. The BNP article actually has no flavour of the dispute - it's written by toffs like Nick Griffin from afar. Postal workers should have noting to do with them. We shouldn't forget Griffin said, "It's well known that the chimneys from the gas chambers at Auschwitz are fake, built after the war ended." Personally I will be protesting outside the BBC on 22 October over their invite to a fascist to use the airwaves to spread their poison.

If the BNP ever got in they would get rid of trade unions thats what people do not realise, I am not interested in what they have to say either nor the Tories and remember many CWU members protest against this party.

I have to say as a Moderator I have to ask myself when posting articles several questions.

1. Is this story related to Postal matters in any way .
2. Does the article help inform people.
3. Does the article bring any new information that has not already been covered by previous articles.
4. Does the article itself contain anything that could be considered racists, sexists or promoting hate.

I do not ask myself

1. Do I agree with the politics of the author.
2. DO I agree with the direction of the article.

Because if I did so I would be accused of only promoting my own views and not allowing other views to be heard. Therefore unless you want us to start not posting BNP articles even if they pass the first four questions, how long before we start getting requests to stop posting SWP, IWW or WP articles that are related to us. . There are BNP members on here and as long as they behave and follows the rules they will stay members, just like all the other people who hold political views that are seen as "Far Left". The Far Left and Far right will never see eye to eye on most things but that does not mean they cannot discuss matters of mutual concern on an independent website such as RMC.

I will say again because of me and my families background I have more reason than most, but not all, to hate what the BNP stands for but that will not stop me allowing articles from them being posted as long as they match the criteria posted above. Free Speech is a right in the UK and one in which I believe strongly in, unfortunately that means sometimes, as long as they follow the rules, I have to allow posts from members no matter how much I abhor their politics.

I heard that from some very good sources in the TUC , he genuinely thought he was owed a favour from the CWU , these people are so thick skinned and so up their own ar*** - it's unbelievable

They do have a solidarity union - £5 per week subs - however RM and other employer's don't recognize them - However they will represent you in a Tribunal , but the idea is to try and stop things getting that far in the first place .

If you could find one to represent you if you were in the Office - it would only be the same as a colleague witness or representative . I'm sure RM are quaking in their boots .

That's right Mod. Our grandfathers fought and sacrificed their lives on foreign soil (from 1936-45) AGAINST Fascists but also FOR liberty and freedom. Freedom of speech is important for many reasons one of which is it means good men are forced to stand up and challenge extreme views. The more free speech extremists have, the more normal people will need to get informed and become politically aware. It's then that we realise the real enemy ISN'T Fascism but actually free-market Capitalism.
