Can someone explain to me the logic behind choosing these dates? Or even explain the delay in action? The members I talk to want to get on with it and not wait 10 days.
Is there a stalling process on the agenda by the PEC? Is it because Billy cant bring himself to defy his mates in the Labour Party? Good grief, somebody tell all the members of the union what is going on? Rumours are that CWU and RM are talking, if thats true then RM hsve won again. Lets get things going while the iron is hot.

But you can only do your scheduled hours. Any extra work would have to roll into the next week.

Anyway, we don't know if it's true yet. Let's not jump to any condemnation before we hear when
the strike dates are, and the reasoning behind them - hopefully tomorrow.

What about locations where MC and Deliveries share the same building?

Cant see deliveries crossing the picket on the thurday and vice versa.

Bloody shambolic - lets all go out for the day for the first time and then start a rolling strike not by discipline but by areas, North, Scotland, NI and Wales, South, South West and Midlands. There would be no need to cross pickets lines with some exceptions because each area would close down at the same time.

Except network drivers and they really do f**k royalmail up if they cannot get sc@b managers to do the job!. But i take your point and it would make life easier for all but we could use this and other tactics in the coming months!.

I'm afraid the union only care about London, i've come to this conclusion now. Edinburgh had problems when our office went out on unofficial action, the same will happen again. Everyone out, no problems.
