In theory everything will be in walk order but only if your office Aplus is sequenced to the delivery frames. Most are still sequencend in delivery ordertailfly12 wrote:So there are a good job then? And everything comes in order of your walk?

A twonk said to one of my guys that it saves 40 mins and you do not need to prep it in the frame as all you have to do is just get the bundle, open it and slip the flats in.I've heard they save around 10 to 20 minutes. You still need to throw it all in,
He said he had seen this in action!

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Re: Walk Sorting Machines?
So everything is in order and then put into boxes to be transported. by that stage you have up to 10 boxes that have to be manually prepped into the frame as it doesn't run in one sequence - but in 10 different sequences which includes a fair percentage of missorts. but as long as we've got them RM can say it's saving us so much time we need to cut even more jobs. Still when has the truth ever got in the way of what RM says ?krussel wrote:In theory everything will be in walk order but only if your office Aplus is sequenced to the delivery frames. Re: Walk Sorting Machines?
I get it ,you take your trays of sequenced mail on delivery then at the first delivery point you go through each tray and take out the relevant letters ,then you dive into the other side of your HCT and have a general rummage through the mixed flats to find the ones you want, and so on x 680. It could work ,think of all the prep time saved
just remembered packets and re di's ,keepsafes and collects
Bye
